WEST SOMERSET SCOUT FELLOWSHIP

Walk 2009 

This years walk is from the Blue Ball pub at the top of Countisbury Hill down the valley to Lynmouth on Saturday 11^th July 2009.

We will be using the Public Service Bus (Service 300) and the recommendation is to catch the Bus at the Railway Station Minehead or the Church at Porlock.

As recommended by the Scout Association a Risk Assessment form is provided and the walk is of about 3.5 miles duration mainly downhill which is rugged at times.

1. Catch the Bus at Minehead Station 10.00 or Porlock Church 10.20
2. Bring your own packed lunch and drinks bus pass or money for fare.
3. Get off bus at The Blue Ball Countisbury.
4. Find treasure (Geocache)
5. Return on Service 300 at 14.58 from Lyndale Car Park arriving Porlock at 15.33 and Minehead at 15.47
