Q1. Can't search for Skype users on a PC running Vista operating system. (GB's machine)
Tip- Better to search by email address provided it is current!
Graham Haw has checked with another Vista equipedmachine and on this machine the facility works fine.

Q2. My video and audio do not run smoothly-suspect shortage of internet bandwidth?
A computer shop in Minehead has confirmed that since 22/11/08 they have had complaints of slow speed from customers of all ISPs.

Resolved Skype Questions
Q1. What name should I use for my Skype name?
A.Choose a name that people can search for: for example would they look for you as "The lone ranger"?
Better to search for someone by email address. Hint - always let your friend know if you change ISP.

Q2. How do I add text to my Skype avatar. ie No microphone at present!
A. On the Skype screen go to file/personalise/add video to your mood -after this screen loads type your message in the lower box and then press the button "save mood message".

A. Click here for help setting up a Skype contact group and then drag and drop to new group.
Q4. How do I search and add new Skype contacts?
A. To search for a person to add to
your Contact list, select the New button above your Contact tab and then click
on New Contact.
You can then find who you're looking for by searching
for their Skype Name, name or email address.
